Resources

As a community-based initiative, Social Housing in Action is dedicated to identifying the needs and priorities of people who are homeless or at risk of losing their current housing.  As part of this process, we’ve come to realize that there is a lack of readily available resource information for those who need it most.

To this end, we have developed a guide called Getting Connected.  Its purpose is to help people get connected to safe and affordable social housing and support services designed to prevent or at least minimize homelessness.

This document is free and can be:

  • found at most agencies in our community
  • request a copy by contacting our office at 403-320-3051
  • request a copy by emailing our office

SHIA and the City of Lethbridge have also compiled a number of documents regarding our vision and strategies for ending homelessness.   Check back often to find out about new things happening to end homelessness in our community.
